We had a walking tour guide taking us around Marrakech, and this was one of the stops. It was well worth the 100Dh we paid to get in. Busy but didn't feel too crowded. The tour guide made it quite interesting and took photos for us.
What a gem! The mosaic is just beautiful ! Every single room has a story and the intricate designs are absolutely stunning. The ceiling alone awes you. The courtyards despite the crowd just evokes a sense of peace that surrounds you. What a beautiful setting, rich in history.
Bahia Palace is an absolute must-visit when in Marrakech. The architecture is simply stunning, with incredible Moroccan craftsmanship in every detail — beautiful zellij mosaics, carved wooden ceilings, and elegant stucco decorations. The courtyards and gardens create a peaceful and authentic atmosphere, perfect for taking photos and enjoying the beauty of traditional Moroccan design. Walking through the palace feels like stepping back in time and experiencing the luxury of a different era. It can get a bit crowded during peak hours, so I highly recommend visiting early in the morning for a more relaxed experience. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates history, architecture, and culture!
My visit to the Bahia Palace in Marrakech was truly incredible. The architecture is breathtaking, with beautifully carved wood, colorful zellige tiles, peaceful courtyards, and elegant gardens that make you feel like you stepped back in time. Every room has its own charm and intricate details that show the richness of Moroccan craftsmanship. Despite the number of visitors, the atmosphere remains calm and enjoyable, especially in the open courtyards filled with sunlight. It’s one of the most impressive historic sites in the city and a must-see for anyone who loves art, history, and traditional Moroccan design
A beautiful place to visit. A vast, intricately designed palace with 160 rooms, courtyards, and over 3 hectares of gardens. Beautiful gardens, courtyard, halls, and intricately decorated doors, ceilings, and facades. It's worth a visit, preferably first thing in the morning, when there aren't many tours.
