A very interesting and beautiful museum created with great care and passion. Despite the high price, I believe you can’t visit Marrakech without seeing this museum and its garden. Unfortunately, I must note the unprofessionalism of some of the staff. Employees in the halls sometimes talk very loudly to each other or use their phones without consideration for visitors, which disrupts the museum atmosphere. It is also completely unclear why photography is not allowed inside the museum. Allowing photos would only promote the museum. These exhibits and models are already well known and can easily be found online, so the ban feels unnecessary. It’s a pity that the only photo we will have as a memory is from the museum shop. Nevertheless, the museum left a very good impression overall, and I would still recommend visiting it.
I’m not sure if it was due to the timing of my visit, but there wasn’t much on display in the museum. The exhibition mainly consisted of photographs, a short film and a singular haute couture dress. I was honestly a little disappointed, as I had expected to see some archival garments. That said, the building itself is beautiful, with lovely architecture, and the staff were very polite and helpful. Note that payment is by card only, tickets only sold online.
The Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakesh is beautifully designed and showcases the work and legacy of YSL in a refined, thoughtful way. The building itself is impressive, with modern architecture that contrasts nicely with the traditional atmosphere of the city. Inside, the exhibition is elegant and well curated, offering a focused look at the designer’s creations and artistic influences. The museum is not very large, and the ticket price feels a bit high for the size, but the quality of the presentation makes the visit worthwhile — especially when combined with the Jardin Majorelle next door. A stylish and inspiring stop for anyone interested in fashion, design, or architecture.
Our visit to the Yves Saint Laurent Museum was such a visually enjoyable experience. The place is filled with beautiful flowers and different types of cacti, and every corner looks more stunning than the next. We had our booking at 16:30 PM, and it was quite crowded at the entrance, so I definitely recommend arriving earlier than your scheduled time. At the end of the garden, you’ll find the museum itself along with a gift shop where you can pick up a nice souvenir from your visit. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot and absolutely worth seeing!
The YSL Museum in Marrakech is beautifully designed and well-curated — a must-visit for anyone interested in fashion, design, or art. The architecture itself is stunning, and the exhibits offer a fascinating look into Yves Saint Laurent’s creative world. That said, the museum is quite small, and the visit doesn’t take very long. We were expecting a bit more content for the ticket price. Still, it’s a stylish and inspiring stop, especially when combined with the nearby Jardin Majorelle.
