We had such a lovely stay at Jnane Tamsna. The place is beautiful and very peaceful, the gardens and pool areas are stunning and it really feels like a little oasis away from the busy parts of Marrakech. What made the stay even more special were the people working there. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming and very accommodating. The food was honestly the highlight. I’ve been to Marrakech many times, but this was some of the best food I’ve had here so far. The chef’s skills really deserve a special mention. Everything was made with fresh produce every day and you could really taste the quality. Lunch and dinner were incredible, and I honestly couldn’t find myself going out for food because I didn’t want to miss the food there.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this property understands what true luxury means. Yes, the décor is beautifully curated, the grounds are stunning (and peacefully away from the bustle of the medina), and the beds are wonderfully comfortable — but it's the people and the personalization that set this experience apart. Our cooking class with Chef was an absolute highlight. The care he brought to his craft, the genuine conversation, and the fact that he prepared gluten-free bread especially for us made for one of the most memorable mornings of our entire trip through Morocco. That same warmth carried through every breakfast interaction with the team, who always stopped to chat and made us feel genuinely looked after. As someone who works in hospitality, I have high standards — and this property exceeded them. Months later, I'm still talking about this stay with friends and colleagues. Highest possible recommendation.
Our girls trip to Marrakech was unforgettable! The hotel is beautiful and the food was delicious. I loved relaxing in the cafe & bar which was full of books, beautiful art (and rugs) and a gorgeous fireplace. From the first time we contacted the concierge until we left for our return flight, we received great care and service. Qualid was attentive, flexible, and accommodating. He understood our desire for a mix of relaxation, adventure, and cultural immersion, tailoring our itinerary to perfection. We had such a great time and enjoyed every moment!
I recently stayed at Jnane Tamsna in Marrakech, and it was truly unforgettable. This boutique hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility. From the warm welcome to the attentive service, the staff made my stay exceptionally comfortable. The owner Meryanne was a delight and I enjoyed meeting her. The rooms beautifully combine traditional Moroccan decor with modern amenities, creating a cozy atmosphere. The gardens are a peaceful oasis, perfect for relaxation, and the pool area is a lovely spot to unwind. The only thing I didn’t like was there was 1 too many flies by the pool area but there are no mosquitoes which was great. Dining at the on-site restaurant, especially under the stars, was a memorable experience with delicious Moroccan cuisine. My favorite was the lamb chop, so delicious. Jnane Tamsna is a serene escape while still close to the city's vibrancy. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway. I can't wait to return!
My stay in October at Jnane Tamsna was nothing short of magical and peaceful. I was in the Agave room. The decor was soothing, comfy and calm. The bathroom was spacious. The concierge service was responsive when I needed water or assistance with anything. And the property is STUNNING!! Each day there was more to discover in this gem. The design and botany was absolutely breathtaking. It provided a much welcomed respite on my adventure in Marrakesh. Order the lamb chops when on-site. Some of the best I’ve ever had.
