Very impressed by this amazing hostel. Faissal the host is incredibly professional and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms are super clean and the beds very comfortable. The location is superb and the hostel is situated in a more relaxed part of the medina close to main sights like bahia palace. You can really calm your senses after a day in the hustle and bustle of marrakech. Each day I was given a coupon to have a breakfast at a cafe nearby, which was very good as well. Brilliant experience, highly recommend you to stay here. I will for sure, when I come back to marrakech. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed there for a week Facial was an absolute gentleman He went above and beyond to help me ,and I saw him do the same for other guests. Some other things to note - -Cleanest and most comfortable hostel I've ever stayed at - Not a huge number of beds so it didn't feel crowded at all -The shower setup was brilliant -The rooms have loads of storage space. All these things add up to a comfortable and relaxing stay. I hope to return to Marrakech and meet you again someday Facial !

Stork Hostel was awesome! Super clean, comfy bedding, and a great location so everything was easy to get to. The staff were friendly (they even offered us tea and biscuits) and the vibe was very welcoming. Definitely a solid choice if you’re looking for a cozy, convenient place to stay and very affordable! Would definitely come back.

My experience at Stork hostel has been fantastic. I have been volunteering at the hostel for over two weeks now, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Before coming to Morocco I researched and spoke with several hostels, before settling on Stork. From the get go I felt welcomed, and part of the community. It's truly fascinating reading some of the older reviews. Honestly, I cannot understand how people have left negative reviews about the place, and moreso directed toward the staff. I have witnessed first hand how welcoming the staff are. Facial (the owner) is a lovely guy. He has always gone above and beyond in making myself and guests feel comfortable, and honestly treats you like family. He cares so much about each individual and their experience, and is always contactable, and willing to provide information and extra support. Facial has a wealth of knowledge about the area, showed me around when I arrived and always gives great support in organising excursions and local insights. The rooms are very clean, spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. Each bed has curtains and a locker. The check in process is very quick and concise, and each guest is given free breakfast at a cafe very close to the hostel. The hostel itself is in a prime location and walking distance to literally everything you need whilst visiting Marrakech. My main priority when choosing a hostel is cleanliness and safety. The hostel is continually cleaned to a very high standard and the location of the hostel has felt extremely safe at all times. The hostel is perfect for getting a good night's sleep and has great wifi for working if need be. The showers are warm and there are laundry facilities on site which is a bonus! The hostel hosts the bests view in Marrakech from the balcony and is a great location to watch the sunrise/sunset and relax. I have travelled alot and stayed in many hostels around the world. This hostel is very good, clean and welcoming. As a solo female I would highly recommend it. Perfect location and very safe.

Basically no use of the kitchen, not even utensils, very dark, even tho the bathrooms are outside the dorms you can hear everything the people are doing on the toilet, not all showers have hangers for your stuff, the balcony on the top is not a nice place to hang out as there are no comfortable places to sit and you can't sit and enjoy the storks anywhere bc the balcony railing is covered up. But more than anything: The owner, who is the one you are in contact with the most, is not hospitable whatsoever, one of the girls volunteering there even left early bc of how uncomfortable he made them feel. He has no social skills and makes you feel like the opposite of welcome, gave me the wrong info on very important travel info which made us in the hostel feel unsafe. He has surveillance cameras all over the place and one night he must've seen me going to the bathrooms on another floor than mine on the cameras and he came there, walked around outside the stalls to then ask me if something was wrong when I came out. Creepy. Made me scared. The services he offers are embarrassingly overpriced, as someone who has travelled ALOT to alot of different hostels this is the craziest a hostel owner has ever tried to scam me money wise. Example: He wanted me to pay 20 EUROS when I asked to have my luggage at the reception for 10 hours! (Not even in a locker). I was shocked. And it said on hostelworld you could have your luggage there for free, so false advertisement, just like it says breakfast is included: it's not. Never experienced so many lies from a hostel before. I went to another hostel in Marrakesh later, the most popular one, and they were so much better and nicer. I asked them about keeping luggage there and they said I could have my bag there for free, or pay 5 euros to have it in a locker for 24 hours. See the difference? And when I wrote my reviews on hostelworld for Stork hostel the owner LIED in his reply and said I wanted to have my bags there for multiple days and that I got aggressive. Complete lie. And it's not his only one. He will probably lie under this review aswell. He said everyone in Marrakesh pays for false positive reviews who are all lying, and it is so clear that's what he does when reading his reviews. He is the opposite of warm, he's passive aggressive, rude, treats women like they are dumb and lacks important travel knowledge about Morocco which is not traits you wanna have when working in hospitality. I'd never recommend anyone to stay there and I encourage everyone to be cautious of the false reviews he's bought here. Kindness, warmth and hospitality is the traits that makes a hostel memorable and well loved and there is TONS of amazing hostels in the world I've had the pleasure to experience. This is not one of them.
