The room had a very strong smell of humidity and the air quality was really bad. We had to keep the air conditioning on all night, which made the room quite cold. The breakfast area was very small and cold as well. I would have preferred a more local, fresh breakfast and it would have been much nicer if served on the rooftop. However, the staff were kind and friendly.
I had an absolutely amazing stay at 'The Central House' and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, hospitality, and something truly special. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the atmosphere throughout the Riad was warm and relaxing. The service was always attentive and friendly. One of the highlights of my stay was the tea ceremony, which was beautifully conducted by Nassima. It was such a special and authentic experience. Nassima explained everything with great passion and warmth, making it both educational and deeply enjoyable. Her calm presence and attention to detail made the ceremony feel truly magical. It was not just tea – it was a cultural experience that I will always remember. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable stay. I will definitely come back!❤️
The staff saved my stay for sure! Every team member from the front desk was outstanding and supported me in every step of the way! Their smiles and good energy are like medicine! The rooms are good and clean. The location was my only problem but you get used to it after a while!
What a wonderful riad! While they have private accommodations, I was traveling solo and stayed in a four bed hostel-style accommodation that was very affordable. The nicest hostel I've stayed in. The staff are wonderful, the food is terrific - the breakfast is extra and well worth it, the rooms are quiet, clean, and warm (I stayed during December). The sounds of the Medina stay outside, save for the call to prayer that wafts onto the terrace on the roof. Plenty of little corners to tuck away and catch up with people back home, journal, or post about your adventures. So many wonderful sights are within a 15 minute walk.
Excellent. Superb location, amazing facilities, all rooms with en-suite bathroom, a lovely roof top for stunning views of the Medina and that sunset, and very friendly staff. It really is as good as it gets, no pun intended. The whole place is sparking clean, beautifully renovated and each floor comes with its own amenities (eg sofa couch to lounge around). WiFi is great throughout the property, there’s a food & drinks bar at ground floor — and, they serve pretty decent breakfast. The design is a master piece of Moroccan architecture, and is pure joy for the eyes to behold. A fully digital luggage storage location is available too. And, the beds are comfortable to sleep in and get some rest before heading out into the Medina. It doesn’t get any better, to be honest.
