Le Jardin Restaurant Marrakech Medina is regarded as one of the distinctive dining venues within the historic Medina of Marrakech, offering an atmosphere that combines the tranquility of traditional gardens with the character of authentic Moroccan architecture. The restaurant is housed in a restored historic riad surrounded by lush vegetation, palm trees, and tropical plants that create a calm natural environment away from the bustle of the surrounding streets. Its design incorporates recognizable elements of Moroccan architectural heritage—such as arches, zellige tilework, and natural color palettes—resulting in a space that harmoniously balances tradition with contemporary touches. The restaurant presents a menu that blends Moroccan cuisine with selected Mediterranean influences, making it a refined setting for guests seeking a relaxed dining experience within a verdant oasis in the heart of the Medina.
We visited the restaurant at Le Jardin Secret twice during our trip and overall had a really good experience. It’s reasonably priced and the food is tasty, especially considering the location. I’d definitely recommend sitting on the top floor if you can as the views are much nicer and it adds to the atmosphere. The second time we went we were seated on the ground floor, which was still pleasant but not quite the same vibe. My girlfriend ordered the chicken sandwich and unfortunately it came out cold, which was disappointing. I had the eggs shakshouka which was full of flavour and really enjoyable, although it didn’t quite fill me up. The service on both visits was good and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They also played great music which made it a nice place to relax. I’d definitely recommend trying the crème brûlée for dessert, it was a standout. Overall, a solid and affordable spot for a meal in the medina.
Beautiful little peace oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Great spot to reset and enjoy some lovely food and the ambiance. The photos tell its own story but the food is lovely and the staff really try hard to make it a wonderful experience. Not on the cheaper side but worth every penny. Try and get a table in the sun during winter.
I went here on my last day in Marrakesh. We stopped by for lunch before our spa treatment and absolutely loved the tranquility of their patio. The spa treatment was managed with professionalism: we were offered hibiscus tea when we first arrived, given clean linens for our treatment, and brought to the room for the hammam. The room itself was quite nice, the only downside to the treatment is that there was only one person for 2 of us. Nonetheless, she managed well as most of the time you're letting the product absorb into your skin anyways. We were given fresh linens again and served tea before our massages. The massage experience was also super pleasant. They used heat pads to warm our upper and lower back. The beds were comfortable as well. We also dined for dinner with our family as we had enjoyed the lunch options and it was nearby our Riad. The service was great! We started with drinks by the fire and enjoyed live music on the lute. Our waiter was attentive and humourous. We were very happy with this ending to our stay!
We had lunch there upon our arrival at Marrakech. A lovely, calm yard. The atmosphere is great and the service very kind and quick. We had roasted carrots, zucchini fritters, potatoes bravas and lamb croquettes. They were all delicious (although a bit pricey, considering the Mezze style of these dishes- we paid 378MAD with two small bottles of water).
