One of our favorite restaurants! The service, food, drinks, and atmosphere were absolutely wonderful. We truly enjoyed our time here. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the eggplant appetizer was my favorite—it reminded me of a dish from back home. We also tried the local wine, which was delicious. The cherry on top was when the DJ played a Moroccan/Albanian mix of music for us. We had such a blast and it made the whole experience even more special.
Thé place to be if you want to combine great views outside with a vibrant party inside! We had dinner outside and it was okay. The tagine was simple, the steak okay, the chicken sticks were very small and a bit dry although the sauce coming with it was very good! We decided to have our desert + some (more) drinks inside and there the party was fully going on. Real fun, great atmosphere, professional (but very busy) staff. Definitely recommended!
This review will be full of praise — be warned 😁 Le Grand Bazar in Marrakech is simply amazing. We spent three days in the city, and every single day we came back here. After a long flight, we had dinner here on our first evening. We were tired and asked if they could keep our bottle of wine — they kindly agreed, which immediately set the tone for the whole experience. The food is exceptional. We highly recommend the local specialties — especially the tagines and starters. Everything was incredibly delicious and full of flavor. The service deserves a standing ovation: attentive, warm, and incredibly fast. This level of hospitality is rare, even in Europe, and truly feels sincere rather than forced. And of course, the interiors are absolutely stunning — elegant, atmospheric, and unforgettable. Huge thanks to the entire team — a must-visit place in Marrakech!
Friday evening we had tried to do a “walk in” for this restaurant. We were a little surprised they didn’t have a table. It was early & it was out of season being January, Not to be defeated we persevered and got a booking for the Saturday. We now understand the “why”. From the moment you step through the door the ambiance and service are outstanding. Very attentive. On the Saturday evening we frequented they had an amazing guitarists - with amazing skill. It created a special kind of atmosphere. At the end of the evening we were entertained by what can only be described as a man very skilled with his hands 😉 - a magician. We were impressed. The food in my sister words made her feel “emotional” - and again in her words “probably one of the best meals she had eaten in a long while”. We ate a traditionally - Moroccan but other dishes were available. We accompanied the meal with something off the wine menu, and not disappointed by the choice or quality.
We all ordered different dishes, and every single one was amazing, from Moroccan cuisine to Italian cuisine. I was very impressed with the pizza! The desserts were simply out of this world. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was very good.
